林盤散居的大格局，形成了別樣的川西鄉野風貌，在山、水、林、田、湖的相互共生中，林盤自由散落，形成“稻田一林，林一宅院”的生產和生活方式。極具川西特色的林盤宅院依據不同的地形地貌自然生長，或隱于高大的喬木與低矮的竹林之中，或被水渠環繞或穿過。
我們將“新”與“舊”的對比作為改造設計的出發點，以建筑原有的實體墻圍合的形式不變，衍生出功能布局，與周邊的水脈形成聯系。
In the symbiosis of mountains, water, forests, fields and lakes, linpan is scattered freely, forming the production and life style of "one forest for paddy field, one house for forest". Linpan houses with western Sichuan characteristics grow naturally according to different landforms, hidden among tall trees and low bamboo forests, or surrounded or crossed by canals. We take the contrast between "new" and "old" as the starting point of the renovation design, and keep the form of the original physical wall of the building unchanged to derive the functional layout and form a connection with the surrounding water vein.
